Dr. Oludare Adigun Adesina, Esq, FIP is an accomplished legal practitioner, privacy expert and Governance Risk & Compliance professional with extensive expertise in data protection, governance, risk management, Intellectual Property , AI, technology law and business strategy.
He is the Managing Partner, Creative Edge Solicitors, Nigeria as well as, the Lead Consultant at CreativeEdge DataPrivacy Solutions Ltd United Kingdom where he is leading a forward-thinking consultancy dedicated to helping organisations navigate the complex landscape of UK GDPR, EU GDPR, PECR, NDPR, DUA Act, EU AI Act , AI GRC and cybersecurity regulations.
With a diverse academic background spanning Law, Intellectual Property, Chemical Engineering, Public Administration and Business Administration which fosters a blend of technical insight, commercial awareness, and legal precision to every engagement. Having practiced in Nigeria as a Barrister & Solicitor and in UK as a Registered Foreign Lawyer for years, he is empowered with strong experience advising SMEs, corporates, and cross-border clients on data privacy frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.
In his professional journey he has had the opportunity of a leading roles in law firms, corporate organisations and consultancy environments, where he has successfully delivered data protection audits, GDPR readiness programmes, breach response plans, privacy and AI governance frameworks, public surveillance, international data transfers, privacy-by-design implementation, and compliance training for organisations.
He is a natural leader and strategist, who combines legal excellence with entrepreneurial vision, positioning himself in corporate and private sector as a trusted boutique consultant in the UK and global market. He is passionate about how innovation and emerging technologies can be deployed responsibly, balancing business growth with ethical and legal obligations, thereby, building a reputation as a trusted authority in privacy, data protection, and AI governance.
He has been honoured with the prestigious designation of Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) by IAPP as a reward for his contribution to the growth and development of privacy and data protection industry globally. His experience in the industry has further being certified with notable certifications available in the industry such as: CIPP/E, CIPM, C-DPO, AI4DPO, AIGP-Trained, MBCS among others.
In May 2023, he was found worthy by Board of Regent of Prowess University, Delaware United States of America and covered him with the Honorary Doctorate Degree in Commercial Law ( LL.D) as a recognition of his distinctive achievements and contributions to knowledge and practice of law.
He belong to several professional bodies such as: International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), National Association of Data Protection Officer, UK (NADPO), Law Society of England & Wales, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Immigration Law Practitioners Association, UK (IPLA), Institutes of Chartered Mediators & Conciliators (ICMC), Chartered Institutes of Arbitrators (CIArb-UK), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, USA (ACFE) among others.
